What about my kids?
Your children will be welcomed into a classroom designed for their age group by volunteers who have been equipped to care for and connect with kids.
Babies and toddlers learn about Jesus and connect with others through music, story time, playtime and snacks. Preschool aged children participate in a large group time with Bible stories and worship and a small group time including snacks, crafts, playtime, and other hands-on learning games.
Elementary children also participate in a large group time with worship, prayer, teaching, and activities that reinforce the lesson and a small group time to apply the lesson to their lives.
What about my older kids?
Junior High (6th-8th) students begin the service in the Worship Center and are dismissed after the time of worship. The youth leaders meet the students in the lobby and lead them downstairs to their classrooms for a time of interactive teaching, discussion, prayer and application. Our Junior High class is available during both the 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services.
During the 11am service, High School students begin the service in the Worship Center and then invited to participate in a breakout time with their peers just before the message. However, on the last Sunday of the month high school students remain in the service to help them transition into living out their faith as an adult. Following the 11am service, all high school students are invited to join youth leaders for an informal lunch and discussion time. Students can find the location for the week by texting "HS LUNCH" to 530-356-1987. Students are responsible for the cost of food and drink.
