God has blessed me in so many ways this year: He has brought great emotional healing to my eldest son; He has restored an almost life-long non-communication of a loving and caring relationship with my brother in Tracy, CA; He has blessed me with acquiring a home to buy, which is so much more than I was praying! And just this last week I have received healing in my leg and it’s circulation system, of which I’ve had to take blood thinner for, for over 4 years. I no longer need the medication!
What an awesome video. I love being part of a body that truly reaches out to it's community with the love of Jesus

I am always amazed to see people working their butts off in the rain! There were so many new sites and creative ways to bless people. I loved watching the video, it is so encouraging! Great job Risen King for being such an active church. I was at Northgate Mobile Park and Michelle and her team did an amazing job with tons of food and amazing omelets! So awesome.

It is great to have so many ways to participate in serving our city, and also that we can put up ways to see and show others how we impacted our city.

It was such a blessing to serve with my girls. I loved to see how easily they reached out to those we were serving. Thank you for providing this opportunity for the Borden Family. We are looking forward to the next outreach day.

On September 26, 2009 a major typhoon hit the Philippines. Our friends from Risen King, Holly, Matt and Abbie were in Manila where the storm landed violently and put 80% of the city under water. Holly resided where the waters were most dangerous. This video captures some of the scenes of this ongoing tragedy. If you would like to help the relief effort that Matt, Abbie and Holly are committed to, you may send your gift to Risen King Community Church, with "Manila flood relief" in the memo. 100% of these funds will be sent to support this labor of love.
Add a comment below of encouragement or a prayer for our friends in the trench in Manila. Don't post their full names.
Risen King Community Church in Redding, CA is dedicated to
evangelism and discipleship for Kingdom impact. One of the ways we
celebrate God's supernatural work among us is through our baptism
services. This video shares some highlights of our annual baptism
service at Whiskeytown Lake. It is so exciting to consider all that God is doing in and through us as a church community in this special season. May God be glorified and the world powerfully touched through these committed disciples!
Wow, crying as I watch this. May the whole world know of His Great Love!

It truly was a Happy Day! Watching the video brings back all that joy, as we can see in everyone's face, all over again. God is Good! Thanks for posting the video.

What a joyous day that was, and I sit here with tears in my eyes again. What blesses me so much is so many young people were baptized. I believe RK has a wonderful program for our youth, and this video shows that the message is reaching their hearts .... which will then be taken out into the community, in their classrooms, and a witness to the world ..... Oh Happy Day!

Risen King Community Church in Redding, CA reaches out in a special way several times a year to "Serve Our City." The day begins with a short commissioning service and then we spread throughout the city to be "love with skin on it" to our community.
It was a great weekend of serving the community and being together as a church family. Do you have a testimony from the weekend? SHARE IT HERE!
Brook Magly filmed and produced this video that captures a recent special evening at Risen King's new facility on Oasis Road. Bill launched the evening by leading with a few songs, and then we all entered the facility for a tour and a time of prayer.
This is our third "Serve Our City" day, and something we are now committed to do at least four times a year. This video begins with our brief Commissioning Service and then shows pictures from some of the project sites.
What a great blessing it is to be able to serve our community with such a great team! Thank you to all who put this together. Your hard work and planning efforts made it easy for us to really enjoy serving our city.
Check out what setup will be like when we get to heaven. Until then...we meet every Saturday at 3:30pm to prepare the gym for us to gather on Sundays. You can help set up the chairs & curtains, or you can help set up the sound system. We only have a few more months to serve at Mistletoe.
