Cait and Cole here! We moved to Redding 6 years ago to serve as the directors of Moral Revolution and before that, we led the youth ministry at Capital Christian Center in Sacramento. We have four high-energy kids, Caleb, Connor, Cade, & Chloe, that you are guaranteed to see running around and having too much fun. This year we made the transition to become the Lead Pastors here at Risen King. It has always been a dream of ours to rebuild an existing, local church. There is so much rich history here and we are excited and thankful for the opportunity to partner with God and build on a beautiful foundation. We want to see the Church come together to be effective and thrive in every area of life. We are passionate about loving God with everything and loving people well.

Transported to Northern California by alien spacecraft in 1992, my wife and I now consider Redding to be our home base. I have maintained my deep cover as a pastor for 46 years and thus have avoided detection by the CIA and NSA. Unfortunately, I have not avoided the IRS. We greatly enjoy our interaction with the people you call ‘Church Folks.’

My wife, Deb, and I have served with the Alliance since 1977 when we married. I am a city boy from Akron, Ohio and she is a dairy farm gal from Nowthen, Minnesota. We came to Redding in 1992 to serve on staff at Neighborhood Church and in 2008 joined the Risen King Ministry Team. It is our calling to help people find the abundant life promised in the Gospel and to help them grow in it. We currently focus our energies in the areas of Missions, Seniors Ministry, Care/Support Groups, and Associate Pastor. We are blessed to have our daughter and her husband, along with our three grandsons living in Redding as well. It is such a joy to be in community at Risen King seeking all that God has as we continue to grow in faith and service for His glory.

My name is Brecklyn Olof! I’m originally from Alabama but have been in Redding now for four years and am proud to call Redding home. I am newly married to my amazing husband, Colin, who you’ll see running the Cafe if you visit! I have been part of ministry all my life and the heartbeat of who I am is getting to love people well and create a safe environment where people can find Jesus and community. That is why I am so passionate about my role as Director of Operations & Administration at Risen King. Loving God and people well is the DNA of Risen King and I love seeing that lived out every day here!

I am originally from San Francisco and moved to far Northern California because of my love of the great outdoors. I am married to my best friend, and we are blessed to have a daughter, son-in-law, and three wonderful grandchildren living in Redding. I spent much of my career marketing California as a travel destination, and now I have the privilege of marketing Jesus, something I am enthusiastic about because my reward is in the Kingdom of Heaven. My heart for my role as Women’s Ministry Director is to encourage women to live out their spiritual gifts in a way that is honoring to God. I am passionate about encouraging connection and community between generations of women that will bring growth, healing, and transformed lives. I love Risen King because it is authentic and welcoming, and we

love well.

Hi Friends! I was born and raised in McCloud, CA. I have lived in Redding for the past 40-plus years. In 1999, I married my beautiful wife Cathy, and for 25 years we’ve never had an argument. Together we have two daughters and two sons and five grandchildren. In my 14 years at Risen King, I have been connected with the Landscaping Crew, Kings Eagles, Security, Hospitality Team, Counting Teams, Young Married Couples, Band of Brothers Men’s Bible Study groups, and a Life Group (which has been together over 25 years). Cathy and I have always felt connected and loved at Risen King; which makes it so easy for us to love on other.

I was born and raised on a small farm in Klamath Falls and moved to Orange County after college. My wife Lorelei and I came to Redding in 2004 and have been at Risen King for the past 8 years.  I believe that God has commanded men to be godly leaders, and we can’t do it alone. I have always had a passion for discipleship and for sharing the lessons He has given me through the years with other men.  In the same way, Lorelei and I have a heart for mentoring younger couples.  I am excited about the vision of Risen King and the new life God has breathed into us as a body.

I am from Pennsylvania but consider Redding my home, having lived here most of my life. I am married with two daughters, two stepdaughters, and six grandkids. I have been in administration and ministry all my adult life. An injury changed the direction of my life drastically and one of my passions is to make sure no disabled person is forgotten, including those who are homebound. I love Risen King because of its focus on people and connection. There is a sense of family that the church has cultivated by focusing on loving God first and then loving each other well.

Amy and I moved here from the Bay Area about 4 years ago when I got a job as senior designer of the creative team at a church here in Redding. Before moving here, we were the worship pastors at an Assemblies of God church for 8 years and I was also the young adults pastor & senior designer there. We’ve been involved in ministry for over 15 years and have been married for 12. We have two miracle baby girls, Aurora is 5 years old & Lily is 4 months old. I am passionate about seeing people engage with their calling. I love opening doors of opportunity, especially in worship, for people to walk those things out with the Lord. I love the tight knit community that is growing here at Risen King as well as the warm, welcoming vibe. I also love the passionate worship culture and rich history of Risen King.

Hey hey! I’m Sarah. Originally from Susanville, I moved to Redding in 2012, and have fallen in love with the city and the incredible people here. Kids, creativity, and healing set my soul on fire. I’ve worked with kids of all ages my whole adult life - in both ministry and educational capacities - and am deeply passionate about helping them grow and discover their unique identities in Christ. It is my deepest desire that they would grow up to be unshakable and adults who know God and hear His voice. I’m so excited to be a part of what God is doing here, and honored to help establish and build Risen Kids!

I was born in Portugal and moved to England when I was 6. I have been in Redding for the past 3 years and now with my beautiful wife Isabella. We have been married for 2 months now. I have been part of church and ministry since I can remember. Have always loved serving the church.  I’m passionate about worship and bringing people into the heart of Jesus through worship. I love how you feel so at home at Risen King, everyone feels like family even though you’ve just met them. People truly show what it means to love others like Jesus taught us. 

I was raised mainly in New Mexico and Texas (along with Oklahoma, Michigan, New Zealand, & Miami), but I am proud to have lived in California longer than anywhere! I have been in Redding for 26 years & Risen King Church has been at the core of my family and fellowship for that entire time.

I love encouraging people, helping them deal with the challenges we all face, to prosper and do their very best in life.

Music is an all-around passion for me; learning to worship God on a deeper level really changed my spiritual life, and I love to lead people in worship.

I love that Risen King is a friendly family for a diverse group of people and that we are all finding our place as we walk together, led and empowered by God’s Holy Spirit.

I am originally from Detroit, MI but grew up all over the Midwest. I claim Stone Mountain, GA, and Evanston, IL as hometowns. I moved to Redding in 2003, with my (then) soon-to-be wife. We found Risen King in the fall of 2004 and it has been the spring of a lot of my spiritual growth. My stepdaughter is our oldest, while my wife and I have two sons, and the youngest is our daughter. I love helping believers find their identity in Christ, discover their gifts, and advance the Kingdom. I love Risen King simply because we are a Church that welcomes people wherever they are on their journey and we faithfully walk with them from a place of love.

I grew up in Redding and my wife, Lynn, is from Stockton, CA. We met in college and have been married for 45 years. We have three married children, two girls and one boy, and seven grandchildren. We have attended Risen King for 23 years. I have served as an elder and governing board member for the past 15 years. Lynn serves in the children’s ministry. Our passion is to know and love the Lord more deeply and with joy! We are also passionate about reaching those in our community who do not know Jesus yet. We love Risen King because it is a family that truly cares for each other through times of blessing and times of hardship. We are so excited about what God is currently doing at Risen King as we see our family growing in love for Jesus and love for each other!

I was born and raised in the Redding area and now live here with my hubby Tom. We have a son, Travis, with two grandboys, and a daughter, Haley, who is about to have a baby girl any day! I am passionate about being led by God daily and keeping my faith and hope fully in Him. Risen King has been our church family for 18 years and I love seeing so many passionate people serving in God’s church! I love to pray for people and watch God show up in mighty ways for them. I love Jesus. I love His family. I love being His disciple and I’m so excited to do my part in helping grow His Kingdom.

I’ve been in Redding since 2004 when work transferred me for a Regional HR position. Previously in WA & Southern CA, we raised two amazing sons and fostered many others. My late husband of 31 years and I visited Risen King Community Church after observing an RKCC Pastor & his wife interact with their then young children in such an honoring way at a local restaurant. We found this church family to be warmly welcoming, teaching, growing and equipping us well in the Word of God. They were especially supportive and are the reason I remain in Redding rather than move near family after being widowed. I am passionate to continue walking in the love of Jesus this church exemplifies, trusting God’s Holy Spirit to lead, praying for and encouraging each other and those who don’t know Jesus, caring for the wounded and those in need, and ultimately bringing hope in Jesus.
